An Idea for more was created
A few years ago, I found myself craving more: more purpose, more alignment, more freedom. I had spent years in administrative roles, helping businesses stay organized and grow, but I wanted something deeper.
Then life shifted in the most beautiful way. Everything changed when I was promoted to mom.
Those early years at home with my two boys were some of the most meaningful of my life.
They taught me patience, resilience, and what it truly means to create a life that feels aligned. When my second son was born in February 2020, I found myself standing at a crossroads. My maternity leave was ending, and I felt this undeniable pull, a whisper that I was meant for something more.
That whisper led me here to create Simply by Katie, where I now help women like me step into their potential and build businesses that feel aligned with the lives they’re creating.
What started as a love for design quickly became a calling to empower women through strategy, storytelling, and intentional design. I’ve seen firsthand how the right website can change everything, how it can shift your confidence, attract aligned clients, and bring clarity to your next level.
Today, I get to work with women in business across Canada and beyond — visionary entrepreneurs, real estate professionals, mentors, wellness professionals, coaches, and creatives — helping them turn their ideas into elevated, high-converting online experiences.

Growing up, I’ve unknowingly always held space for others to feel seen, heard, and supported in their own journey. My idea of gift-giving was creating a scrapbook for the people I love. Something that was personal, something that told a story, something that reflected back to them how I saw them.
That’s always been a part of who I am.
My time spent with my grandmas was always around the kitchen table. Listening to their stories for hours. I remember being completely captivated by the lives they had lived. Now I do the same, though it looks a little different. I listen to women share their dreams, their vision, and their purpose, and I help bring those stories to life through design.
My mission is to support, celebrate, and connect women in business, because every woman with a dream has a space here.
